Awesome to see your post and that you've done some research on Tonga and your family history. I see lots of Tongan flags around Papakura and it's awesome that I'm learning lots by reading your posts. Like how to greet people, 'Malo e leli', you just taught me that now, so thanks.
That's awesome to hear that a special thing your family does together is go to the movies, spending time together is the really important part.
Did you know that Tonga was discovered and settled by the first Tongans way back 2,800 years ago (800 BC) the date you have might just be when a European person found it afterwards, (probably Dutch, the dutch came round and found most places with people there already and went back to Europe to tell people about them.)
